The way to liberalize national market
of banking services

As already known, there were a lot of discussions and publications concerning foreign capital influence on national banking sector. The main objective of current publication is to examine in details general trends and specific differences in world community approaches to solve various issues of national banking market liberalization. Number of those approaches are very essential to understand in the light of current banking sectors liberalization importance in Russia, such as necessity of foreign capital limits and quotas in the national banking sector, potential threats and opportunites of foreign banks branches for local market, restrictions of operations list in the domestic market, regulation of national banks capital share purchases by foreign investors. And, very likely, the most important thing is to analyze the consequences of foreign capital expansion for banking sectors, national economy as a whole, reveal major determinants of those consequences.
